Play 3: Trigger on progress, both directions. Progress is a stream of buying signals wearing a learner's clothes. Finishing the advanced course is a raised hand. Stalling at lesson three is asking for help without asking. Failing the exam twice is a risk they will conclude the method is not for them. Each is a moment. Each is invisible if learning never reaches the funnel.

Both triggers fail if they only send email. Email from a workflow is not Tailor. Tailor is a person who can see the stall and choose. Keep a human lane on every progress trigger. The model can draft the task description. A human decides whether to reach out. Do not trigger on every video play. Noise trains the team to ignore the stream.
Help: create a task for a human. The task says what they stalled on, not check in. A CSM or an AE can send the missing worked example. A partner can book the implementation hour.
Raised hand: notify sales or success with the transcript attached. This is not a they downloaded a white paper ping. This is they invested hours and can prove it. The next conversation starts at their altitude.
If your LMS never writes the event, you cannot trigger. That is the silo, and it is fatal in this stage.
