Adoption debt is the gap between what the product can do and what customers know it can do. It compounds each release. Shipping without teaching widens it. Support feels it as tickets. Sales feels it as they only use ten percent. GTM feels it as churn with no villain.
How the loop services the debt

Teach the job so new people enter with the vocabulary.
Name it in the QBR
A product team that ships weekly without a changelog loop is a debt factory. An academy that teaches last year's UI is a debt factory with nicer video. Frozen curriculum and adoption debt are the same object from two sides. You will not zero the gap. You will keep it from compounding in the dark. Name it in the QBR. Not enablement. Adoption debt. Executives already understand debt. They will fund a loop faster than they will fund a catalog.
